‘We can judge our health by our happiness’ - Dr Edward Bach
What we know as disease is an ultimate result produced in the body, the end product of deep and long-acting forces. Behind all disease lies our fears, our anxieties, our greed, our likes, and dislikes. Let us seek these out and heal them and with the healing of them will go the disease from which we suffer.
Dr Bach created 38 flower remedies. There are the twelve healers which will fit a personality or essential nature. There are the seven helpers which help with chronic conditions and how you have become accustomed to dealing with life and then there are the second nineteen which are remedies corresponding to emotional conditions arising every day.
After a consultation, a bespoke tincture is made using 6/7 of the remedies. It’s all about getting to the guts of how you feel. A blue mood, a Monday morning feeling, known fears, anxieties or always putting on a brave face for example.
Everyone deserves to be happy, and these remedies have been working for coming up to a century now. Dr Bach’s artistry was listening to the gentle whispers of these flowers and understanding the way they help remedy and balance our emotions.
Forget me knots were Dr Bach’s favourite flower, although not used in his remedies they are a gentle reminder of him.
